This is an illustration I created for a series of promotional "art cards" for a steampunk convention.
This tiny fairy character is building a jetpack, as you sometimes do. She has wings, though, so maybe it is for a friend.
The caption reads: “Now you will have no excuse for not keeping up with me. Come, and let us cinch the straps.”
I created this image in collage fashion, using imagery from 19th-century periodicals. It was colored by Marcus Parcus.
Print is either 8.5 x 11" or 11 x 14" on matte bristol.
