This is one of two illustrations I created for Ryan North's Hamlet adaptation, To Be or Not To Be.
It dramatizes that classic moment from the play when the slain Claudius is reincarnated as an enormous robot.
I created this image in collage fashion, using imagery from 19th-century periodicals. It was colored by Marcus Parcus.
The caption reads: “Should I, a king of men, in death take the form of Colossus? Is this some prize, or indignity?”
Print is either 8.5 x 11" or 11 x 14" on matte bristol.
All prints come signed by default! If you want some specific inscription or dedication, let me know in the instructions box.
