This character and scene come from Wondermark comic #1057. In it, the titular Gatekeeper demands that travelers satisfy a series of difficult challenges in order to pass. They, it seems, fail the test.
I created this image in collage fashion, using imagery from 19th-century periodicals. It was colored by Marcus Parcus.
The caption reads: "If they cannot satisfy my conditions, then I shall not offer them passage; but rather, a place on my high shelf of conquests"
Print is either 8.5 x 11" or 11 x 14" on matte bristol.
All prints come signed by default! If you want some specific inscription or dedication, let me know in the instructions box.
